Adept AD-CHIPBOARD Foiled Grooved Water Underfloor Heating Kits

The Adept AD-CHIPBOARD Underfloor Heating Kit is a premium single-zone system featuring 12mm PERT pipe, pre-grooved 22mm foiled chipboard panels, and an A-rated pump. Designed for 150mm pipe spacing, each kit delivers up to 100 W/m² of efficient and even heat, and can be easily integrated with Adept or Heatmiser controls.

Each 2400 x 600 x 22mm panel is made from P5 moisture-resistant chipboard with foil-faced grooves for fast pipe installation. Panels are tongue and grooved, glued to adjoining panels and joists, then screwed down before laying the pipe.

Flooring finishes like carpet, laminate, or timber can be laid over a minimum 6mm plywood layer. For tiles or vinyl, a suitable sub-deck is required—this may involve thicker ply, tile backer board, or a skimmed surface. A 6mm flooring-grade ply, bonded and fixed to the chipboard, acts as a protective layer, preserving the system during future floor changes.
