The XPS 5mm Classic Underlay board offers exceptional compression strength, impact sound insulation, and moisture resistance, making it a top choice for any flooring project. Not only that, it's also an eco-friendly option.
Crafted from 100% recycled plastic, including materials like contact lens cases and fridge shelving, each Underlay product helps recycle over 960 tonnes of reground plastic annually. The plastic is transformed into palletised beads for reuse, reducing waste and promoting sustainability.
This product is proudly made in the UK and is compatible with both wood and laminate flooring on any subfloor surface.
Our Classic Underlay Insulation boards offer a cost-effective solution for supporting Elektra and other underwood foil heating systems while providing high-quality insulation. It's also an ideal choice for laminate and engineered floating floor finishes when underfloor heating is not installed.
Adept Classic Underlay Insulation comes in sealed packs of 9.76m2, with 19 individual sheets sized at 856mm x 600mm. Each board covers 0.51m2 and is 5mm thick. For deeper insulation, we recommend our XPS Insulation boards, which comes in a variety of thicknesses.
Please note that Classic Underlay is not compatible with electric undertile heating mats and cables or with levelling compounds. It's strictly designed for use with foil heating mats.
