Kelmore Grout Flex15

Kelmore Grout Flex15 is a highly flexible, polymer-modified, fast-setting cementitious grout for walls and floors. Available in a wide range of popular colours with matching silicones, it suits joints up to 15 mm and provides built-in mould resistance. Its efflorescence-free formula allows easy wash-off and leaves a clean, full grout joint.

Suitable for interior and exterior use—including wet rooms, power showers, and domestic or commercial settings—Flex15 is manufactured using advanced technology and premium raw materials, significantly reducing CO₂ emissions compared to traditional cementitious grouts.

Coverage

Coverage varies depending on tile size, thickness and joint width. The table below provides typical coverage per 3 kg bag.

Mixing

Mix approximately 3¼ parts powder to 1 part clean, cold water (800–850 ml per 3 kg bag). Add powder to water and blend to a smooth, creamy, slump-free consistency. Allow to stand for 2 minutes, then re-mix. When using a mechanical mixer, keep speeds low to avoid entraining air.

Application

Apply with a grout float or squeegee, fully compacting grout into joints and removing excess as you work. Once the grout begins to firm up*, clean residues with a damp (not wet) sponge, rinsing frequently. When hardened, polish off any remaining haze with a dry cloth.

*At 20 °C: approx. 20 min to stiffen in ceramic tiles, 45 min in porcelain.

Set Times & Use

At 20 °C:

• Light foot traffic: after 3 hours

• Full set: after 24 hours

• Dry-area service: after 24 hours

• Shower use: after 3 days

• Protect external areas from frost/rain for 48 hours

• For underfloor heating: leave off for 10 days, then raise the temperature gradually.

Grout Flex15 should be used in accordance with BS 5385 Parts 1–5 for wall and floor tiling.
