Thermopanel Tile Backer Boards - Plastering / Render Boards - 1250 x 600mm

Thermopanel Tile Backer Boards are specifically designed for two primary purposes:

• As a first-class heat insulation layer for underfloor heating systems
• As a superior waterproof construction board to fix wall or floor tiles

Each board measures 1250mm x 600mm (0.75m²).

How to Work Out How Many Boards You Need:

To calculate the number of boards required, divide your room size in m² by 0.75.
Example: 5m² ÷ 0.75 = 6.66 → round up to 7 boards.

Installation:

Concrete Base Floor:
Use a floor trowel to apply flexible tile adhesive across the area. Lay the Thermopanel boards into the adhesive and press firmly. Seal joints with Joint Tape.

Floorboards / Wood Base Floor:
Option 1: Use the same method as for concrete floors.
Option 2: Screw down the boards using MSW36 steel washers and screws every 300mm (approx. 15 fixings per board). Seal all joints with Joint Tape.
